What is vital for perception is isolation. Finding one’s self is unavoidably possible in silence and solitude. In order to reach their inner souls the artists have willingly created a continuous and extended isolation. They try to live in the society yet can only search for those sophisticated layers in solitude; the search and discovery of that respected twinkle. This time isolation has aimed all of humanity. The isolation of humankind. Indeed from the heart of this isolation opulence and light shall come forth.

NEN creates structures. Long arches of music transcending the concepts of tracks or songs. Music that needs time - time that can not be represented by means of the standard formats of releasing music. This is the second in a series of structures we will release. All taken from the “one week one band” Orbital Garden residency in December 2017.

Contemporary folk music from Sweden. Music from the early days of this groundbreaking trio. A unique live recording from a truly memorable concert in 1999. Featuring never before released live versions of some of their most defining tunes.
“Twenty” is about the magical gravitational forces of music and its mysterious effects on life itself. Just as much as it marks our twenty-year anniversary as Bazar Blå, this music is also a celebration of the rare friendship that has kept us together for all these years.

We always record our CD's ourselves and, as always, we had sought out a room we liked to work in. This time it had white stonewalls, an old wooden floor and, of course, a very comfortable sofa - the right ambience for creating music and a new album.
The second ECM album by Swiss composer-pianist Nik Bärtsch and his band Ronin reaps the benefits of the two years of roadwork undertaken since the recording of “Stoa”
This album was released in celebration of the 10-year jubilee of Asita Hamidi’s Bazaar. After countless concerts, tours, collaborations and travels, “Live” was their 5th CD. Compositions as unique as the instrumentation, masterly performance, heart-melting melodies and an ambience between oriental bazaar, dreamt away togetherness and European perfectionism sets the stage for an intense musical experience.

NYSCH came about after some very active years filled with musical collaborations, tours and festival - performances in many places far outside the borders of our native Sweden. The material on Nysch is to a large extent a result of these adventures. The title is short for: “Den nya schottisen” the new schottis (a beloved style of swedish folkmusic and dancing!)

This recording was taken live from the Be-Jazz Festival in Bern, 2002. Don Li was invited to envision a TONUS-MUSIC NIGHT, which would display his work in TONUS-MUSIC LABOR. A five-hour marathon emerged with a selection of formations which had played from winter 2000 until winter 2001 in TONUS-MUSIC LABOR, and which had worked with Don Li's musical concept. What can be heard on these two CDs, the power and potential, wrote international music history from Switzerland.

The opus GEN conveys a consequent artistic attitude that refrains from any solo contributions and therewith strengthens itself into a hypnotizing 27-minute suite. GEN involves all elements, rhythmically, tonally and conceptually, which characterize TONUS-MUSIC and forms the birth-hour of this European minimal groove music.
Bazar Blå
"metaphysik jazz minimal funk" is the subtitle of Don Li´s unique soundcreations, wich are based on dark but still clear colour structures and represented by a tranparent rhythm. The music on "Suun" is a slow moving sound of constant pulse, recording with a superb line-up.
